Many patients are surprised to learn there is a difference between moisturization and hydration. Moisturization is the process of the skin feeling hydrated by sealing moisture into the skin, while hydration actually increases the water content of the skin by absorption. Use HA-5 twice daily, once in the morning and once at night. Apply HA-5 after cleansing, toning, and treating your skin, but BEFORE you moisturize and apply SPF.
